As summer is approaching, here is the perfect drink recipe for your kids to sip on all day long! This drink is our very own Indian invention- Buttermilk, also well known as Chaas. Buttermilk is the best beverage you can give your child during this hot dry weather. Buttermilk is extremely tasty and it has multiple health benefits as well.

Buttermilk is healthy for kids of all age groups. You can give it to your 2 year old little one and also to your teenage kid. It is a cooling beverage which is also enjoyed by kids of all ages.

Here are 4 super great health benefits of buttermilk for your kids:

#1 My Bones Strongest

Buttermilk provides your child with a good amount of calcium that is required by the body. Increased calcium intake helps in the healthy growth of the bones of your children. Why take calcium supplements, when you can give your child yummy buttermilk right?

 #2 Never get tired

Summer time is play time! All children engage in multiple activities during summer. From football to swimming, every kid just wants to play and fun. This also leads to dehydrations as it strains the energy of your child. Give your child 2 glasses of buttermilk everyday during summers, this will keep them hydrated all through.

 #3 Boost up your health

Buttermilk not only provides your kids with calcium, but it also increases the intake of other nutrients like Potassium and Vitamin B. This will help increase the immune system of your child and prevent them from all kinds of health issues.

#4 Let’s fight fat

Increased fat consumption leads to obesity. As we all know obesity can be very harmful, it is important to control it right from childhood. Buttermilk helps wash down fats from a child’s body. Drinking buttermilk after a meal will make your kid feel lighter as it helps to wash down excess oil and fats from the body.
