Extraordinary! A Bihar mum rushes to the examination hall just two hours after delivery

In a display of unprecedented zeal, Ranju Kumari, rushed straight to the examination hall just two hours after delivering her baby

For a woman who has just delivered, any kind of physical activity could be a bit difficult. But for this expecting Bihar woman, none of it mattered when it came to taking her annual academic examination.

In a display of unprecedented zeal, Ranju Kumari, a resident of Muzaffarpur, Bihar, rushed straight to the examination hall just two hours after delivering her baby. Yes, that's right!

How did this happen?

It all started when Kumari reportedly started having labour pains, just moments before she was to take her Bachelor of Education (BEd) examination. She was then rushed to a nearby private hospital where she safely delivered her second child.

However, she kept insisting on wanting to go back to write her paper. And while initially the doctors were not convinced about sending her, they gave into her persistence.

If you thought that was dramatic enough, there's more.

How she gave the exam!

Soon after she convinced the doctors to let he go, she was given an ambulance to escort her to the examination centre. Here, the centre’s superintendent, Mamta Rani, allowed her to take the exam, seeing as how dedicated Kumari was about her education.

In fact, the superintendent even allowed Kumari to write her papers in the ambulance with an invigilator at hand. “We salute her dedication for studies. She has proved women’s awareness towards studies has increased,” Rani said.

Kumari reportedly later revealed the real reason as to why she was so adamant about sitting for this exam. She said that she wanted to be better educated so that she could be more capable to care for her two children.

Extraordinary show of strength

This is not the first time such an incident has come to the fore.

Just last month, a 21-year-old Jharkhand woman reportedly delivered a baby boy in an examination centre in Jharkhand. A student of the Adarah College in Dhanwar, Bharti Kumari, was going for her third year Bachelor of Arts examination at a college approximately 25 kms from her home.

But, Kumari, reached the centre two hours before the commencement of the exam and went into labour just half an hour into it.
