Everybody's beloved Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain star Saumya Tandon, who has so far maintained a stoic silence on her marriage has finally opened up about it.
She shared a picture with her husband Saurabh Devendra Singh with a special message that made it clear that she recently tied the knot (reportedly in a private ceremony in Mumbai).
She wrote: "Became kids again in r 1st skiing class. Learning,Falling, rising, together. In a new class of life with marriage hope v hav fun along d way." The picture is from their honeymoon in Switzerland.

This revelation comes just days after she refused to admit that she was in fact, married.
While speaking to a local daily she earlier stated, "I have no comments. I don't want my life to be a question-answer session for people. What I do in my personal life is not for people to know. The minute I open up about my personal life, it will have a snowball effect; the world will demand to know even the minutest details. I can't let my private matters become a public spectacle."
But now it seems Tandon is comfortable enough to share the good news.
A sweet love story
The couple met 10 years ago in college and their love story began from there. While Tandon completed her MBA from the Fore Institute of Management, Delhi, and pursued her ambitions as an actor and anchor; her beau studied at the revered Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi and followed it up with an MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad.
He worked as the vice president of RBS (Royal Bank Of Scotland) and also for CLSA, Calimere Sports. He currently works as the Director of Asian region at Barclays, while Tandon is seen on the popular primetime show.
The couple have also reportedly been living-in together in Mumbai and are clearly enjoying their matrimony. However, it seems that being in the limelight forced the star to hide her marital status, albeit for a short period of time.
But it was also due to this privately kept secret that Tandon and her husband were able to enjoy some time with each other; because after all let's be honest, living-in does make it easier for a couple to understand each other's likes and dislikes and work on their relationship.
How living-in helped other star couples
Another couple who has openly shared their experiences about living-in, was Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu.
Kemmu admitted, "Live-in relationship helped me to know and understand my partner better, which eventually helped my marriage with Soha. But having said that…you have to figure out your way. There is no one proper recipe. Everybody has ups and downs, and everybody should figure their way out.”
It seems both these couples have found the answer to what clicks in a marriage and are working towards its success.
3 things that make a marriage stronger
- Respecting the partner: Establishing and maintaining mutual respect for each other is key to a successful relationship. It’s imperative that couples treat their spouses with consideration and negotiate wherever necessary. It is not just the absence of a negative thought, but also the inclusion of positive thoughts that counts in a marriage.
- Trusting the partner: When you trust with your partner, you are more likely to forgive, forget and move on. However, where there is lack of trust and mutual respect, you question each other's intentions. So trusting each other would help couples depend on each other and see each other in positive light.
- Communication with the partner: Another key factor of a successful relationship is open and truthful communication. You have to build a foundation wherein, you can openly share your feelings and any underlying issue with your partner. This is the only way to establish a peaceful and harmonious marriage.
