Avika Gor of Balika Vadhu fame is back with a bang, and we're loving it!
Avika Gor will also return to television as Anushka, Ammaji’s elder granddaughter, and the show’s protagonist.
One of the most revolutionary TV shows India has seen are Balika Vadhu and Na Aana Is Des Laado. And when after almost a decade the two merge together with the main leads, prime time gears up to sizzle.
Ammaji aka Meghna Malik is back with Laado2 on Aap Ka Colors. Ammaji was much loved in season one for her bold avatar, and will now be playing the role of a caring grandmother, who loves her family and can go to any extent to protect her granddaughters.
Though she motivates them and wants them to stand on their own feet, she can be the most frightening person that one can come across. She is shrewd, intense, astute, manipulative and vicious.
Avika Gor will also return to television as Anushka, Ammaji’s elder granddaughter, and the show’s protagonist. She plays the role of a final year law student – very bright and righteous.
She has strong ideas and perceptions and her world is made up of only black and white, no grey areas. She has complete faith in Law and places it above her grandmother, Ammaji as well.
Avika gained fame back in 2008 with Balika Vadhu at the tender age of 11. She never looked back after that. This multi-talented actress has a burst of many hidden talents and has achieved a lot in the last 9 years. There are lesser known facts about her that all her fans should be knowing.
She has walked the red carpet at Cannes with her ex-co actor Manish Raisinghan, not once but twice! The do have made two short films, 'Ankahee Baatein' in 2016 and I, Me, Myself in 2017.
Since Sasural Simar Ka, the two have been romantically linked, but in every interview, they have denied any relationship.
Avika is almost half of Manish's age and the two are best friends. The two actors share a great rapport and hence, they also shot for a new project in Switzerland earlier this year.

She kept doing Telugu and Kannada films as well. These included Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki, Cinema Choopistha Mava, Thanu Nenu, Care of Footpath 2 and others.
Avika's tried her hands on Bollywood films as well. Though it didn't gain as much as momentum as her daily soaps. Some of the first few films Avika was a part of were Morning Walk, Paathshala, Tezz.
