The 'young' naani recently shared an image of hers where she was seen jumping a 25-inch box, an exercise that many youngsters cannot even attempt!

At the age of 58, Neetu Kapoor is showing no sings of stopping. She has the energy of a 20-year-old. Is jumping boxes, battling the rope and proving that age is just a number.

Her identity as a star kid, a star wife and a star mother has now been overshadowed by her newly acquired status as the fittest grandmother in town. Yes, you read that right.

The Kapoor bahu may be a lady of leisure today, but there is one thing she never misses, and that is her exercise routine.

The 58-year-old recently shared an image of hers, jumping over a 25-inch box, an exercise that many youngsters cannot even attempt. Along with the picture she wrote: "@yogeshfitness always challenging !!!! Made me jump on a 25" box..."

So how does she manage to remain so fit and look as young as a 30-year-old? Well, by her own admission, it's the way she feels and the way she works out.

“I feel fitter than when I was younger,” she shared in an interview adding that her two pregnancies had taken a toll on her body and that she gained almost 25 kilos both times.

“A woman gains maximum weight when she delivers. To get rid of stubborn fat, especially after menopause, you have to have Yogesh (her trainer),” she shared. So now her daily motivation is to remain fit and she is working hard towards it.

Neetu follows hardcore exercises to stay slim

She shares that in order to keeping the inches off her she regulates her exercise routine.

“My world revolves around my work- out, my fitness, Yogesh and food. I work with Yogesh half the week and on other days, I walk at least 10,000 steps,” she shared.

The 58-year-old grandmum's fitness regime involves "yoga, Pilates, TRX, free form board, body blade and wiper kettle bell.” She also concentrates on having home-cooked food which she says is a must five days a week.

No doubt that this 'young' grandmum is able to maintain herself so well. After all the only thing you truly need is the motivation, will and regularity of your workout routines. It doesn't matter whether you go to the gym or do yoga at home, if you are regular you will see results, just as Neetu is reaping now.
