Life in the army is tough, not only for the soldiers and officers, but also for the kids. Army kids are popularly referred to as BRAT, but not many know the actual meaning of the word. Well, for those who don't, it stands for born, raised and transferred.
Being transferred every two to three years, army kids spend half of their childhood adjusting to new places, schools, friends and circumstances, which might not be the case with other civilian kids.
In this video, an army kid explains that how life in the army is much more than just guns and fighting the enemy during times of war and emergency. It's full of challenges such as adjusting to the local languages and going to school in army trucks, and not buses and vans.
