Arbaaz and Malaika: Parents first?
After hitting a few sore spots in their relationship, Arbaaz and Malaika had separated last year. The couple finally got divorced by mutual consent in May 2017 and ended the 18-year-old marriage.
But they were often spotted together on family dinners with their son or to celebrate their little love’s birthday. What’s more, they share a warm friendship and are also close to each other’s families.
Lucky in love: Malaika admits in a show
Surprisingly, Malaika continues to address herself as Malaika Arora Khan on her social media. When she recently appeared on “BFFs with Vogue” with her sister, Amrita Arora, even Amrita introduced her as Malaika Arora Khan. And that’s what is making everyone wonder if a reconciliation is coming up between this once-upon-a-time lovey-dovey couple.
When stunning “BFFs with Vogue” host Neha Dhupia asked Malaika whether she was lucky in love or lucky in cards, Malaika answered that she was “lucky in love.”
Arbaaz on his relationship with Malaika and their son
In one of his recent interviews, Arbaaz Khan opened up about his relationship with Malaika. He said, “I have a very good relationship with Malaika and her family, and it will continue to remain that way. And my son is my priority and I would do anything to see that situation is maintained. Apart from that there is nothing else to ask.”
Surely the words of a caring dad!
Another estranged couple who is said to be getting back together is Hrithik Roshan and his ex-wife Sussanne Khan.
How divorce affects kids
Parents’ separation or fall-out can leave a deep impact on kids. Here are a few ways in which this happens:
- The situation can confuse them, leading them to believe that all relationships are like that.
- They feel the financial crunch as the resources become limited.
- If the father is the estranged parent then this can have a negative impact particularly on teenage kids.
