The Bachchan family have just returned from a trip to the Maldives, where they celebrated Abhishek’s 40th birthday. Amitabh Bachchan posted a pic of the family on twitter.

It’s quite interesting to see that the Bachchans have come out in full support for a national sport like Kabaddi, which seemed to had lost all the respect due to the over popularity of cricket in India.
However, the sport seems to have revived with Abhishek’s initiative to set up the pro Kabaddi league. It’s encouraging to see that they are trying to introduce Aaradhya to sports as well and sharing the nuances of a game which had lost its sheen.
We hope other parents take cue from them and encourage their kids to like other games as well and not just cricket.
