Look! Daughter Aaradhya brings out mum Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s inner child

Look! Daughter Aaradhya brings out mum Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s inner childLook! Daughter Aaradhya brings out mum Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s inner child

To see the former Miss World playing with her daughter in a child like demenour serves as a sweet reminder that no matter how big a public personality a mother is, with her she children becomes a child in a blink of an eye!

Ask any mum to a growing up baby about the best thing their baby has taught them and invariably the answer will be the ability to bring the child in them.

Looks like mum Aishwarya Rai Bachchan too is reliving her childhood with daughter Aaradhya. Recently papa Abhishek Bachchan posted a picture of the mother and daughter duo enjoying a day in the park as they sit on swings side by side. The Bachchan family is currently holidaying in New York where Abhishek Bachchan is shooting for a film.

Recently both Aishwarya and Aaradhya travelled to New York to join Abhishek so that the family could mix work and holiday together. While it is no secret that Aishwarya is a very hands-on mum and is often seen taking care of Aaradhya while going out and about with her travel schedules it is nice to see her actually letting her hair down and becoming like child herself while playing with her five-year-old.

Happiness.

The picture was also refreshing because Aishwarya is fiercely guarded about her personal life and seldom shares any candid details on what a normal day is like in the Bachchan household.

To see the former Miss World who is extremely careful about protocols and public appearances playing with her daughter in a child like demenour serves as a sweet reminder that no matter how busy or how big a public personality a mother is, with her children becomes a child in a blink of an eye!

Here’s how mums can bring out the kid in them

According to psychologists it may be a good idea to let go of your adult hang-ups and behave like kids every once in a while. Not only is it a stress buster for you it serves as a great reminder for your kids too that you are always available for them not just as their care taker but also as their friends.

Here are a few research-proven ways to help you bond better with your kids.

  • Play role play: Before you roll your eyes at the idea of spending an evening posing as Peppa Pig or Thomas The Engine just think of the joy it will bring to your kids. Once in a while have a role play date at home and dress the entire family in your kids’ favourite cartoon character. The laughter and happiness it will bring about will be priceless.
  • Be one of their own: In a kids’ world after a while, it can be a boring idea to be sitting and painting all by themselves. Make their creative outlets more enriching by involving the entire family in it. Older kids, mum and dad even grandparents can sit with your toddler sometimes as everyone compares notes with each other.
  • Run, race, and repeat: Whenever your kids are outdoors become their equal companion. If you have taken them for a walk in a park then spend a few minutes running together or even rolling in the grass together. Yes it may seem comical but imagine if you were to spot a parent behaving downright silly to make their kids happy won't you stop and say cute? When with kids do as they do and just watch their joys double.
