Working parents are so caught up in their profession lives that they almost forget to spend time with their kids and get involved in their lives. How awesome will it be to work as well as spend some awesome crazy time with your little ones!

Here are some quick tips on how to spend great time with your kids despite your busy lives.

#1 Take short trips

Long weekend coming up? Make the most of it, go on a short trip with your kids. Travelling and exploring new places is the best way to bond with your kids, besides giving you the much-needed break from your hectic lives.

#2 From Brunch to Supper

Plan a day out with your kids on your free day. Have every meal with them and give them maximum importance on your day off. Remember, best conversations always happen over food! Chalk out a plan and make the most of it by ordering foods that your kids love. They would love it!

#3 One-hour rule

No matter how busy you are, make it a point to spend an hour a day with your family. It could be before work, after work or just before sleeping and talk to them endlessly on the happenings of their day. A family that talks together grows together!

#4 Shop together

Don’t have too much time to be at home? Involve them to finish your shopping chores. From grocery to clothes shopping, take your little ones along. Spoil them a little and pamper yourself too!

#5 Get involved

Working parents are tad too busy to monitor each and every move of their child’s life. However, it is important to get involved in your child’s life. Take out at least 5 minutes a day to call your child up and ask him/her what they are doing and whether something is bothering them. Ask them if they need help with any decisions or activities. So what if you are not physically present, you are present in their minds always!
