5 Skincare Habits To Keep Your Child's Skin Healthy5 Skincare Habits To Keep Your Child's Skin Healthy

Wonder how easily your little munchkin picks up yours or your partner's habits, mannerisms, and behaviours? Young kids are great observers and rather quick in bringing to action what they see around them. So, why not help them develop a few healthy, skin care habits?

Here are 5 skincare habits that can prove to be great for your child.

#1 Keeping their skin clean

Young children should be exposed to the external environment for their healthy development. So, a lot of playtime is a given thing. But along with that comes, dirt and dust. No doubt your kid is the happiest when building a sand castle or playing on the slide. But you should ensure that they take a shower when they're back home and clean off all the dirt that gets stuck to their skin. You can use Baby Dove Rich Moisture Bar to keep their skin soft and supple.

#2 Moisturisation

Did you know that your child's skin is 30 percent thinner than yours? And that it can lose moisture five times faster? Well, regular moisturisation is the key to healthy and nourished skin. You can use Baby Dove Rich Moisture Baby Lotion after a bath and witness it weave its magic on your baby's skin.

#3 Using wet wipes

While bathing your child can give them a thorough cleaning, it may not be possible all the time. Especially, if you're outdoors with them. Get your little one into the habit of wiping off dirt and grime or sweat off their skin with good quality wet wipes such as Baby Dove Rich Moisture Baby Wipes.

#4 Introducing them to personal hygiene

Your child's bum area is extremely sensitive. Help them understand how to care for their genitals. You may encourage them to ask for a nappy free time when they feel irritated with the diapers. Or even teach them to keep the area clean to avoid any rashes. You can teach them to report any discomfort or burning sensations in this area, so then you can examine it and apply a diaper rash cream, such as Baby Dove.

#5 Massaging your child

Regular oil massages are good for your baby's skin and hair as well as scalp. So, make sure that along with body massages, you oil your child's hair on a regular basis. You can use Baby Dove Rich Moisture Baby Oil for the massage and Baby Dove Rich Moisture Shampoo for the hair wash.

Baby Dove products are gentle on your child's skin. They are free of parabens, dyes, and phthalates. They are hypoallergenic and pH neutral. These products, tested dermatologically and paediatrically, are soothing to your child's skin and keep it moisturised all day long.

Help your little ones develop good skin care habits since a young age while spending quality time with them.
