While new celeb mums like Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mira Rajput are currently dealing with a deluge of media attention on their little cubs, there are some other famous mothers who are quietly raising their brood.

Yes, you can argue that they are not as famous as Kareena or Mira, but they are also personalities who have won many hearts because of their talent; and despite that they are happy to be full-time mothers.

So if they are famous, how are they able to keep their babies low-profile? Well, they have clearly devised a simple plan and that is to keep their personal lives as private as possible and to shed less light on how motherhood has changed them. Yes, that's correct!

Motherhood changes everybody but there is no need to scream that from the top of the roofs. It's a period to be enjoyed and not publicized and that's precisely what these mums are doing. We salute such mums who are as regular as it gets, even in extraordinarily famous professions.

Click 'Start Gallery' to see how these mums are raising their kids and what they are doing differently that perhaps even you do on a daily basis as a mum.

Tisca Chopra

Tisca Chopra

She became a favourite Ma of big screen when she portrayed the character of the loving mother of the eight-year-old Ishaan Mathur in the heart-wrenching movie Taare Zameen Pe.

But not many know that in real-life Tisca is married to an Air India pilot Sanjay Chopra, and is a mother to three-year-old daughter, Tara. And even though she is constantly on the big screen, Tisca makes sure to spend ample time with her little cub and keep her away from the spotlight.

She doesn't reveal much about her daughter and does not take her along for events and media functions either, keeping her relatively away from the limelight.

Maria Goretti

Maria Goretti

Mum to two young bubs, wife to a famous Indian actor and a star on television and now in the digital world, Maria Goretti is a multi-tasking working mum.

And while her love for cooking and writing means that she spends a lot of time at home innovating, she doesn't let it be the reason to be lenient on her kids. By her own admission she's a strict mum.

"I am a very, very strict mom, may be I need to lighten up. I keep to my word. So if I say that I’m gonna pull you out of something if you don’t finish your homework or class project, then I do," she once said in an interview.

Mandira Bedi

She's famous as Shanti for her role in the namesake show, normalising women as fashionable cricket commentators and even having kids after a decade of marriage, Mandira Bedi has done it all.

By her own admission, she is also a strict mother who sets the rules in the house. "In my whole family, I am the only one who is the disciplinarian," she state din an interview.

However, she added that she does spend most of her time at home and away from work, with her son, Veer. No wonder then the entire family spends more time with each other and less time in front of the paparazzi.

Shruti Seth

Actor, anchor and new mum Shruti Seth delivered baby Alina in 2014. And thanks to her baby girls' young age, she quite clearly manages to keep her little munchkin away from the limelight.

She often gives her fans and friends a glimpse of her daughter through her Instagram, but that's pretty much it. And for her the most important thing is to make Alina a well-behaved and respectful child.

“I am blessed to have an easy child like Alina, who is a good baby. She is still too young to become strict with her. Alina is still at the pampering stage and I am enjoying pampering her. But, one thing I can say that my mother has always been one disciplinarian and with her guiding Alina, I am sure that my daughter will grow up to become a well behaved child," she said in an interview. That obviously cannot be done if the baby is in front of the cameras and Seth clearly knows it.

Konkona Sen Sharma

Konkona Sen Sharma

This brilliant yet elusive actor has kept her son Haroon far away from the media or the limelight, giving him a normal childhood. And how is she doing that? Well, by making him a part of her legacy.

Konkona admits that she brings Haroon along with her to work and that has made her job easier as far as raising him is concerned.

"In Haroon's case, he has been coming for shootings since he was a child. He understands that shooting is work. And he knows that when shooting is on, mummy cannot be disturbed. Frankly, I like having him around even when I am at work. If I am in Mumbai, he hangs around in my vanity van. Of late, I have done a lot of work in Bengal. When this happens, I take him with me to Kolkata. Sometimes I leave him with my mother (Aparna Sen) who lives there," she said.

This normalcy is certainly giving him space to grow up as a regular child who accompanies mum to work, just as our own children sometimes.
