That's precisely what happened with these 90s actresses. They found love in the most unexpected partners and away from the limelight.

Even though some of them are still living a very public life, they have their partners to give them a taste of reality and normalcy and of course, their happily ever after.

The Rangeela girl tied the knot with Kashmir-based businessman Mohsin Akhtar Mir, 32, in a private ceremony on March 3, last year. And, the couple live together in Matondkar's Turner Road home in Mumbai.

Interestingly, Mir was invited to Manish Malhotra’s niece’s wedding in 2014, where Matondkar was also invited a guest. Naturally, when the two met, sparks flew and Mir instantly fell in love with the bubbly actress. He then pursued her and finally asked for her hand in marriage. And the rest, as we know now, is history.

Preity Zinta quietly tied the knot with longtime beau Gene Goodenough in Los Angeles on February 29, last year. The wedding was preceded by traditional Punjabi customs, including a mehendi ceremony. This was followed by a Hindu wedding.

Interestingly, the famous actor met Goodenough through common friends, while visiting LA to meet her niece and nephew.The couple reportedly instantly hit it off, but were unsure of settling down with each other. But it seems that they are thoroughly enjoying their married life together.

The Ghajni actress tied the knot with Micromax founder Rahul Sharma in two lavish ceremonies on January 19, last year in Delhi. The couple first had a white-themed Christian wedding followed by a traditional Hindu wedding.

Interestingly, Thottumkal’s close friend and Bollywood star Akshay Kumar introduced the two to each other, and was in fact the first recipient of the couple’s wedding card. He was also the best man at their wedding.

Bollywood's dancing diva Shilpa Shetty tied the knot with UK-based business man Raj Kundra on November 22, 2009, in a big, fat, Indian wedding in Mumbai. The wedding ceremonies took place at Shilpa's close friend Kiran Bawa's Khandala farmhouse.

Interestingly, the two met as prospective business partners after Shilpa's Big Brother stint in the UK. The two were supposed to work together on Shilpa's business, but their friendship soon culminated into love and the duo got married.

Although they were hit by controversies right before the wedding, when Raj's ex wife accused Shilpa of being a 'home-breaker,' but all was sorted in time and the two are now proud parents of four-year-old Viaan Raj Kundra.

The gorgeous Miss India tied the knot with the Dubai-based Austrian businessman on July 23, 2011 in Austria. The couple met through family friends and Celina instantly knew she would marry him.

In an interview she narrated her love story. "I met Peter for the first time in Dubai. I was there for the store opening of the Indian fashion brand I endorse (Jashn). I met Peter through a dear family friend whom I lovingly call Nilesh Mama & my dear friend Rahuul Jashnani. It was a family gathering at a wonderful lounge and Peter was also invited to it. There was an intense recognition in a part of me when I first saw Peter. Actually we did not speak anything to each other but I just knew from the moment he walked in that he was my husband even though we had never met before," she shared.
