It is believed that what you learn in early childhood, stays with you for life. A small habit that you inculcate in your kids at early age could help them develop life skills, which could make a big difference to their personality. Here are few habits that you must inculcate in your kid.
-
Write Daily
Make your kid write at least 50 words daily either on paper, a board or a slate. This will not only improve their vocabulary skills, but will also boost their self-confidence. Writing helps kids use their imagination power and provides them an emotional outlet. If your kid is below 5 then simply let him scribble on paper using colorful crayons. Drink a cup of water before going to sleep and right after waking up
Kids play, run throughout the day and thus their body looses fluids as the day comes to an end. Drinking water before bed helps replenish the lost fluids, keeps them hydrated and also balances the vitamins and minerals in their body. Drinking a glass of water before going to bed can help your child to get a sound sleep because it helps to prevent night time leg cramps and get rid of toxins.
Drinking water right after waking up helps activate all the internal organs in the body. Also it makes them flush all the toxins and make them feel rejuvenated in the morning.

Exercise
Morning exercise is a must for everyone, especially the kids. Daily exercising develops a stronger bone and muscle structure in kids. Also it keeps them physically active the entire day.
It increases oxygen and blood flow to the brain which helps them to concentrate much well even after school. Exercising also increases the levels of norepinephrine and endorphins, which helps in improving mood and reduces stress. According to studies, exercising decreases anxiety, reduces depression, and improves mood and outlook in children.

Reading
Reading helps your kids improve their communication skills. Also it is one of the most effective ways of building the “language” neural connections in their growing brains. Fantasy and fairy tale books not only fascinate them but also help them know the difference between real and reel world. It improves their imagination. As your child grows up, he won’t be stressed about reading, as it would have become a pleasure for him.
