3 desi qualities of Divyanka Tripathi that all Indian daughters-in-law have!3 desi qualities of Divyanka Tripathi that all Indian daughters-in-law have!

Divyanka Tripathi impressed everybody with her sanskari approach to life and these are qualities that most Indian women beautifully embody

As the lead of the popular television show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, actress Divyanka Tripathi has become a household name. Her talent and beauty has captured the imagination of the audience and her adarsh character has made her endearing.

But while many celebrities are not as idealistic as their onscreen characters, it seems that Tripathi is effortless in her portrayal of the simple and honest onscreen character Dr Ishita Bhalla.

That has perhaps got to do with the fact that she herself embodies simplicity and just like her reel life character, Tripathi is also a doting wife. The popular actress married television actor Vivek Dahiya last July and the couple has since been giving us major couple goals.

But there have been times when Tripathi impressed everybody with her rather sanskari approach to life and these are qualities that many Indian daughters-in-law and wives beautifully embody.

#1 Balancing a successful career with marriage

Women are known to multitask and Tripathi is no different. She balances a successful career and her fame well with her personal life. In fact, in an interview she even stated that she knows how to keep things in order and was sure her career would not get affected by her marital status.

"I don’t think marriage will change anything for us. Our careers will not be affected after marriage. He (Vivek) believes in gender equality and is a man of today’s time," she shared.

#2 Standing up for your partner

Trusting and having each other's back as friends is certainly the foundation of any successful marriage. And it seems Tripathi and Dahiya both take this job seriously, just as any other Indian couple.

In fact, quite recently a fan wrote a nasty comment on one of Vivek's Instagram pictures, to which the doting wife naturally had a harsh response. "You are so pathetic. Everyone knows you never loved Divyanka. Just for fame and money that the main reason you married Divyanka. I feel really bad for her. Her choice was so wrong. She loves you so much. You never loved her. (sic)," the fan reportedly wrote.

Divyanka then responded by saying, "Just shut up you loser... do not take my side when you don’t even know us enough! You attention seekers have no other job! It’s a couple’s decision and the world is definitely not a part of it. Specially you bashing idiots don’t ever take my name again. Like us... be here! Don’t like us... Don’t bother to even peep into our post. (sic)"

#3 Never shying away from tradition

Being a traditional girl at heart, it seems Tripathi enjoys all the desi customs. Be it teej or karva chauth, she loves to follow tradition while being a modern working woman at the same time.

It's perhaps also got to do with how well she is supported by her family, in-laws and especially by her doting husband. In fact, in an interview she stated how Vivek completes her and is extremely supportive of her at every step of the way.

A post shared by Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya (@divyankatripathidahiya) on Oct 20, 2016 at 4:42am PDT

“He completes me as a person. I met him in a phase of my life when I was very negative, but he was not like that. Every time I would worry about not getting work in future, he would says, ‘Even if you don’t work I will work and everything will be fine’,” she stated in her interview.
