Do you know there might be symptoms that may result into low sex-drive and sometimes it is a bad lifestyle or habit that causes the same. Identify and take charge before it is too late.

Here's a list of 13 things that you should be looking at to avoid killing your sex-drive.

1 Stress

1 Stress

Stress is that one word and one feeling that has caused a universal epidemic and is the culprit for the zillion diseases and issues in life.

Breathe and take one thing at a time. Don't let your stress take control of you and ruin your sex-drive.

2 Erection Problems

2 Erection Problems

Men with ED (erectile dysfunction) often worry about how they will be able to perform sexually, and that worry can drain their desire.

ED can be treated but for that, even the woman needs to support her man to sail through the phase.

3 Lack of Sleep

3 Lack of Sleep

Have you noticed when you do not get your desired amount of sleep, you tend to be cranky and lose all interest?

Anything that messes with a good night's sleep can mess with sex. Fatigue curbs sexy feelings. Try improving your sleeping habits and if your desires still do not improve, consult a doctor.

4 Kids

4 Kids

Priorities change once you have kids. And if you tend to co-sleep then having sex is another issue altogether.

Your mind tends to play dirty and gives reasons for being tired, being guilty etc of having sex with your partner that eventually tires you running behind only your responsibilities and you kill your sexual desires. Try sex when the baby is not around or sleeping.

5 Depression

5 Depression

This one is a major issue that goes unidentified. Depression makes you feel unworthy of anything good in life, including sex. Talk to a therapist or doctor if your medication is adding to your low drive.

6 Obesity

6 Obesity

Yes, obesity can impact your lives at many different levels, including your sex-drive. It could be due to no stamina, low self-esteem or no urge. Make an effort to exercise and lose weight not only for your sex-drive but also for your overall health.

7 Medicines

7 Medicines

Some drugs that you may be consuming daily might be the reason behind your reduced sexual desires. But never stop or change any medicine without consulting your doctor. These medicines include- antidepressants, BP meds, chemotherapy, finasteride etc.

8 Gestures

8 Gestures

Sometimes directly getting into action needs more excitement building processes to be involved. A gentle massage to each other, or spending quality time is very important to keep the sparks alive.

9 Partner Issues

9 Partner Issues

This actually tops the chart of killing the sex-drive. Once you have issues with your partner that are unresolved, for women especially getting close or even to think about sex gets difficult. Try and sort your issues first to get back to normal action.

10 Menopause

10 Menopause

For many women, sex drive dims around menopause. That's partly about symptoms such as vaginal dryness and pain during sex. But this varies from case to case.

There are many women who take care of their body and healthy even after menopause and enjoy great sex life. You control your life rather than society or issues control your desires.

11 Body Image

11 Body Image

Feeling sexy is easier if you like how you look. Work on accepting your body as it is today, even if you're working to get in shape.

Feeling good about yourself can put you in the mood. If your partner has low esteem, assure them that they're sexy.

12 Alcohol

12 Alcohol

You may feel that alcohol may help you get your sexy self out and drop inhibitions, but too much alcohol actually numbs your sex-drive.

If you get sloshed or find it difficult to drink less, you may successfully turn off your partner.

13 Testosterone levels
